↓ WEEK 9 WARM-UP

By: Matthew A. Anderson

With most of the area conference championships decided, the focus switches to playoff time, playoff bids and bubble games. 175 teams have already qualified for the 256 spots available in the playoffs. About 100 teams are left with 5 wins, that could get an automatic bid with a win on Friday night.

First let's congratulate the area League Champs and take a look at what races still need to be decided.

Capital Area Blue - Holt Rams

Capital Area Red - Mason, Sexton and St. Johns shared the title.

Capital Area Gold - DeWitt Panthers

Greater Thumb West - Reese, Laker High and Vassar shared.

Highland - Beal City clinches with a win over Evart but if they should happen to fall and Lake City defeats Marion, the 2 would split.
